Clangers, Bagpuss & Co at the River and Rowing Museum, Henley on Thames

Children’s classics the Clangers, Bagpuss and Noggin the Nog come vividly to life in this unique exhibition for the you and young at heart! Oliver Postgate’s voice and Peter Firmin’s puppets shaped the childhood memories of millions since they started collaborating in the 1950s. As well as telling the story of Bagpuss and the Clangers, the exhibition will go behind the scenes of some of their other creations including Noggin the Nog and Ivor the Engine. Visitors will be able to try their hand at animating the characters using current technology and learn to speak Clanger!

Bottle feed goats at Odds Farm Park, Wooburn Common
The ever popular bottle-feeding activity returns! Make sure you hold the bottle tight (no, not the wine bottle!)! Plus, on various weekends and during some school holidays, join in with the madness and mayhem of Odds Farm Park’s Crazy Entertainers! With several shows daily, all the extra fun is included in entry! The best thing is, if it’s raining outside, your little monsters will go bonkers in the Indoor Playbarn, of course while you sit back and have a coffee in peace (hopefully!)

Bekonscot Model Village & Railway, Beaconsfield
After a blustery winter, the model village has now re-opened…yipppeeee! Check out the six little towns stuck in a 1930s time warp and imagine how they were all built. Or ride on the miniature railway – always a hit with the kids! And if they want to burn off some energy, let them loose in the playground. Such a great day out and hopefully, your kids will be worn out by the end of the day.
